SELECTIVE SCHOOL test \ scholarship PREPARATION

What is Selective School Test preparation (SSTP)?

Our SSTP course covers the following areas:

  • Mathematics
  • Numerical reasoning
  • Verbal reasoning
  • Reading comprehension
  • Persuasive and creative writing

When should you prepare?

Students can begin preparing for the test from year 7. Every year we commence the Mathematics course in February and the English course in June.

Program structure

Our program consists of two main courses:

  • Mathematics
  • English

Mathematics course prepares students for numerical reasoning and mathematics tests while English course prepares students for writing, reading comprehension and verbal reasoning tests. In each course, students learn theory followed by questions practising different strategies. Students learn to answer questions in a given time frame. At the end of each course, students complete practice tests covering the content learnt. If students wish to cover both mathematics and English courses, they need to attend twice weekly.
